The dinner was no different from the previous night. It was simply marvelous. But this time we were treated to native seafood delicacies since it was Tong’s turn to be in charge. Sinugba na Bariles was the main course with pinakbet for veggies and sinigang na tuna for soup. Needless to say we had to buy more rice from the nearby restaurant since our usual serving of rice was not enough.

After dinner was more of videoke.

The rematch of the Pinoy Idol proved to be the worse nightmare for Bodeng.  He was starting to lose his Frank Sinatra voice and was getting low scores to everybody’s amazement. As a matter of fact his 96 score for CYCLES in Candon became 69 here in Pagudpud. He was worried. He did not want to lose his crown and certainly not to his cantra-pelo Tong.

At D-Day, Tong hit the notes first scoring and awesome 94. The pressure was on. Bodeng had to do better or face the forever braggings of Tong. To make the story short, after the performance of Bodeng everyone was glued to the scoring machine …..67. Laughter! Laughter! Laughter!

Too bad they had to close up the place by 10:00pm. They were saying that the nearby guests wanted to have some peace and quiet. We are saying they just don’t appreciate good music when they hear one.
